We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements, technical specifications, and use cases.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for development teams.
  • Work closely with project managers, product owners, and developers to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with business users to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation, including requirements documents, user stories, process flows, and user acceptance criteria.
  • Support the testing process by defining test cases, performing user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring that solutions meet business expectations.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new systems, tools, or features based on business requirements.
  • Identify and address any gaps between business expectations and technical capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless communication between business and technical teams, helping to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) as part of an agile development process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Experience in technical architecture, databases, APIs, and other key IT components.
  • Proficiency in creating process models, wireframes, and user interface mockups.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering quality results.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
