Axient Systems is looking for a Technical Buyer who thrives as the intersection of technology, negotiation, and project execution.  About the roleAs our Technical Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing a wide range of products and services – ranging from satellite components and tooling, to subcontracted production, testing services, and software licenses. You will ensure that our suppliers deliver on time, at the right cos, and at the required quality standards. This is a versatile role where you will contribute both complex system integration projects for ground, space, and defence, as well as general company operations. You will work closely with our engineers, project managers, legal counsel, and the Site Director to keep our supply chain strong and reliable.  What you will do·        Identify and onboard new suppliers.·        Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ’s).·        Negotiate, draft and manage procurement contracts.·        Monitor supplier performance, including risk management and delivery progress.·        Perform supplier and delivery evaluations.·        Ensure products and services meet the technical and quality requirements for our projects.·        Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.  What you bring·        Bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent) in a relevant field (Procurement, Supply Chain, Technical Business Administration, Engineering).·        At least 3 years of experience in a technical procurement or supply chain role.·        Strong negotiation and contract management skills.·        Hands-on experience working with technical products and international suppliers.·        Knowledge of Incoterms, customs, and logistics is a plus.·        Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.·        Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).  What We OfferAt Axient Systems, we know that great people build great missions.
