Technical Coordinator Apply
We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Coordinator to join a busy residential development team, based from their Reading office, on an initial 3-month contract operating inside IR35.In this role, you will coordinate all technical information between external consultants and internal departments throughout the design and construction process. You will ensure approvals are secured and information is issued accurately and on time to enable a prompt start on site and efficient project delivery.The business values in-person collaboration while supporting flexible working where possible. Any specific requirements can be discussed during the interview process.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate technical information across the design and construction lifecycleEnsure drawings and details are accurate, compliant, and commercially suitableChair and coordinate design team meetings with internal and external stakeholdersManage planning conditions, Building Control, and warranty submissionsLiaise with consultants, statutory bodies, and internal teams to progress technical mattersMaintain drawings and documentation on the Viewpoint platformSupport Commercial and Buying teams with subcontractor design reviewsAttend site meetings and visits to resolve technical issuesEnsure cost-effective design solutions, buildability, and regulatory complianceEssential Experience & SkillsBackground in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or similarExperience within the residential housing sectorStrong knowledge of Section 38 and Section 104 agreementsExcellent attention to detail with strong organisational and analytical skillsConfident communicator, able to challenge decisions where requiredProficient in MS Office and 4Projects ViewpointFull UK driving licence (or equivalent)DesirableDegree or equivalent qualification in a related disciplineCAD / Revit experienceThis is a strong opportunity for a Technical Coordinator seeking a short-term contract inside IR35 with immediate impact.Ref: 4210JR
