ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Familiarize yourself with our product portfolio to become a resource for our customer base
- Field phone calls to provide technical support, generate quotes, and process orders for customers
- Work with a select group of priority customers to provide optimal service and support
- Support the field sales engineers by generating quotes for customers, providing technical support, and help manage customer accounts
- Provide technical support and assist customers with inquiries or issues spanning the full line of manufacturers that we represent
- Create/analyze sales and business operational reports
- Supporting the sales organization through other various administrative functions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Sales, or Business
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage a variety of tasks and stakeholders
- Polished interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality
- Must by self-motivated with a passion about working with and helping others
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong writing and grammar skills required
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with cloud based ERP and CRM systems preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or general wholesale/distribution is preferred, but not required
- Self-motivated with a passion for working with and helping others
