BANG! Miami (Clothing) is a brand of mens activewear featuring premium beachwear, underwear, and athleisure lines. Based out of Miami, our products are sold worldwide via our online webstore at www.BangMiami.com. Poolside style for men is in our DNA and its what we do best. At BANG! Miami the beach is our stage where the show always must go on.

We are looking to hire a skilled Product Development Specialist / Technical Designer to help with the creation, management and maintenance of all technical design files and documents related to products in development in our line, adhering to strict deadlines.

Position is full-time (40 hours / week), and on location (not remote).

The Product Development Specialist works directly with and reports to the Creative Directors and Founders of the brand.

Responsibilities:

Adapts original artworks created by the brand placing them in the different parts of patterns and molds of the products for localized printing purposes.

Prepares and readies all required files to submit to suppliers and manufacturing for ready-to-print process.

Manages and keeps track of all products in development as well as statuses of prototypes and fit samples, adhering to strict deadlines.

Maintains library of patterns and size charts for all lines of the brand.

Creates, updates, and reviews tech packs and/or line sheets.

Responsible for preparing, managing, and maintaining all accuracy in Bill of Materials, product specifications and guidelines, including organization of all swatches, trims, and notions.

Communicates development statuses related to style changes, construction changes or file updates.

Communicates with vendor partners daily to maintain deadlines and problem solve fit and/or product development issues.

Recommends new ideas and methods for construction and execution of styles.

Works with the development calendar by adhering to all agreed time and action items.

Qualifications:

2-5+ years of Swim, Underwear or Athletic/Casual Apparel Development experience is a must.

Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Proficiency in organization of information.

Knowledge of Excel and working with spreadsheets.

Proficiency in preparation of Tech Packs.

Understanding of PLM systems.

Strong sense of urgency and understanding of critical internal deadlines.

Flexibility, adaptability, and excellent organization skills

Solid verbal communication skills and rich written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

BA, BFA or AS degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or industry-related fields.

Fluency in English, bilingual Spanish a plus

Bonus points: Pattern-making skills.
