Responsibilities: Provide remote technical support for hardware (printers, desktops, laptops, drivers, monitors, mobile handheld devices) and software (internally developed apps, productivity tools, operating systems, internet applications, and drivers); troubleshoot and analyze computer system errors of moderate to difficult scope. Resolve client technical issues by troubleshooting and determining effective solutions, interacting with internal and external escalation resources for complex problems. Recommend supported software applications and hardware to meet client requirements. Maintain knowledge of new and existing supported desktop software, hardware, and systems. Assist with testing new or upgraded software and hardware releases as needed. Ensure excellent customer service and communication, prioritize tasks effectively, and work well under pressure in a changing environment. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree and minimum 1 year of recent Help Desk experience; this is a help desk phone support position. 1-3 years of support experience in a Support Center or Call Center environment. 2-4 years of experience in IT support. Certifications such as A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCSE) are preferred but not required. Experience with Windows 7, Outlook 2010, remote management tools, VPN, wireless support, Active Directory administration, TCP/IP, and web-based applications.
