Managing geotechnical engineering projects from initial planning through completion\n\nDeveloping field exploration programs and laboratory testing plans for geotechnical investigations\n\nPreparing proposals for geotechnical engineering services\n\nCoordinating and overseeing field investigation activities\n\nCollecting, sampling, and logging soil and rock materials during field work\n\nConducting research, performing engineering analyses, and preparing detailed geotechnical reports\n\nMonitoring project budgets and schedules to ensure all requirements are met\n\nReviewing foundation and grading plans for compliance with geotechnical recommendations\n\nCollaborating with civil engineers, structural engineers, architects, and construction managers\n\nWorking core hours Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed\n\nPerforming additional duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)\n\nProfessional Engineering license in the state\n\n5–15 years of relevant experience\n\nStrong understanding of soil mechanics and laboratory testing methods\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nProficiency with CADD software and Microsoft Office\n\nDependable, positive, and able to meet project deadlines\n\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple concurrent deadlines

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
