Technical Infrastructure Program Manager – Global Engineering Programs, Field Engineering Amazon Data Services, Inc. (Job ID: 10423030) – AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Overview As a Field Engineering Technical Program Manager, you will lead highly skilled, cross‑disciplinary teams to optimize the lifecycle of AWS data centers. You will drive the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of capabilities for HVAC, power distribution, and controls systems, while ensuring safety, security, capacity, and availability at a global scale. Key Responsibilities Understand and align technical and business components of availability solutions across engineering, operations, procurement, legal, finance, and partner stakeholder teams. Develop complete standards and processes for tracking, reporting, and closing risks. Prepare executive‑level narratives with recommendations on cost, timing, and trade‑offs. Capture, share, and leverage technical program management best practices with other product and program managers in Data Center Engineering. Learn and understand the AWS data center lifecycle globally. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission‑critical facilities (e.g., data centers, power generation, oil and gas). 5+ years of technical product or program management experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and delivering product and technical roadmaps that influence internal and external stakeholders. Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work, and ensure on‑time delivery. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in critical data center operations, including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
