We’re seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA or Chicago, IL to oversee data center build projects. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager will lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through scope and schedule creation, budget management, completed design, implementation, commissioning, and data center deployment. Along the way, you will use your judgment, critical thinking skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, eliminate non‑value‑add activities, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and be capable of understanding mechanical/electrical engineering concepts. They will be able to apply a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include experience with MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint. Experience with Tableau, KanBan, Playbook, SQL and systems integration a plus. Key Job Responsibilities Own and deliver end‑to‑end builds Work with stakeholder teams to map dependencies, create and drive schedules, and solve large challenges Organize and maintain critical path and delivery timelines Provide high judgement, capacity delivery to end customers Basic Qualifications 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software) Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds Preferred Qualifications Experience in data center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management with a good understanding of data center technologies such as power, cooling and controls systems Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
