Job Summary Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world leader in providing a highly reliable, scalable, low‑cost infrastructure platform in the cloud. As part of the AWS Infrastructure organization, Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) prepares for, plans, and builds the data centers that comprise the AWS cloud. We are seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Denver CO, Herndon VA, Arlington VA, or Seattle WA to oversee data center infrastructure expansion projects in support of U.S. Government customers. Key Responsibilities Lead cross‑functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Use judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple time zones. Manage capital budgets, eliminate non‑value‑add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and accelerate project delivery. Ensure data center capacity is delivered ahead of customer demand while maintaining cost, schedule, and quality. Daily Activities Review demand forecasts for assigned region to ensure timely triggers for future builds. Conduct design reviews and deep dive material delivery issues threatening project schedules. Resolve technical challenges encountered during execution. Work both in corporate offices and on the job site as needed. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience. Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (e.g., network, data center, hardware, software). Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or above in engineering, management, or technology. 3+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects. Experience in managing data center infrastructure deployments. Background in architecture/design, mechanical/electrical engineering, software/network engineering, data center infrastructure/operations, or construction management. Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint; knowledge of Tableau, Kanban, Playbook, SQL, and systems integration. Security Requirements The candidate selected must be a U.S. citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. Locations & Compensation Denver, CO – $127,100.00 – $171,900.00 USD annually Arlington, VA – $127,100.00 – $171,900.00 USD annually Herndon, VA – $127,100.00 – $171,900.00 USD annually Seattle, WA – $127,100.00 – $171,900.00 USD annually Base salary plus sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
