Role: Technical Java Lead-Duck Creek Platform Location: New Jersey (Day One Onsite) Look for local profiles or candidates from other location who are ready to relocate from day one. Duration: C2C and C2H and FTE Job Description: Experience LEvel: 10+ years Lead end-to-end development in and around insurance products defined within clients's Duck Creek Platform. Duck Creek Policy Developer to develop and modify applications and lead a team of developers. Minimum 6 years of experience in Duck creek Policy Configuration and Integration. Communicate regularly in accordance with agreed upon communications plan. Work on PAS application for Customization and Customization. Collaborate with system architects, vendors, and business partners. Work effectively with multiple assignments and teams to meet completion dates. Train and mentor other staff members. Lead customer discussion with respect to base functionality and Customization. Participate in the full life-cycle development of the product, including the development, integration, and testing of product features. Analyze existing program logic to determine best method of accomplishing required changes or cause of program malfunction. Manage error handling and code exceptions. Design program logic to meet specifications and to adhere to development and architecture standards. Prepare and deliver formal presentations on project and status for business and technology leadership. Own the technical direction of Innovation & Enablement projects, ensuring seamless execution and quality. Keep on top of Duck Creek Technology Product Roadmap and the industry trends including Digital Transformation, InsureTech, AI/Machine Learning etc. Mandatory Skills: Core Java, Insurance, Insurance Products Desired Skills: Testing, Machine Learning, Systems, Java, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Qualifications: External Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. At least 5 years of leadership experience within cross-functional teams or programs. At least 8 years with insurance background required. Experience in Commercial lines platform/systems implementation of Duck Creek Policy is required 3-6 years of experience on Duck Creek Policy Platform delivering insurance products and capabilities for multiple lines of business preferred Deep knowledge of commercial and specialty insurance products and operational processes is required. Expertise in assessing internal and external data needs to meet underwriting guidelines is required. At least 5-7 years of hands on experience in technology stack such as Microsoft.Net, Java, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server, HTML, XML, CSS, XSLT etc.
