Salary: $90,000 - 120,000 base + Benefits

Schedule: Full-time / First shift
We have an injection molding company near the Pelham, AL region that is in need of a Plant Supervisor to lead their manufacturing operations. The plant supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of operators, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Actively supervise a team of injection molding machine operators. Provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of molded parts and address any deviations from quality requirements.
- Oversee maintenance activities for injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Coordinate with maintenance staff to schedule preventive maintenance and address equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements. Implement lean manufacturing principles and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
- Prepare production reports, performance metrics, and other relevant documentation as required by management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in injection molding operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long durations of time, and perform other physical tasks as required.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if needed.
