Technical Program Manager - Manufacturing Test and Readiness - Data Center GPU

Job Summary We are looking for a Manufacturing Technical Program Manager to drive end‑to‑end test strategy on next‑gen AMD Datacenter Instinct GPU products. This role operates at the intersection of ASIC validation, firmware/software enablement, platform bring‑up, and high‑volume manufacturing, with ownership of test content architecture, debug orchestration, and yield optimization. Key Responsibilities Work closely with validation, platform, program, and MFG teams to understand components of the test program and define an overall test program for AMD data center GPU products. Track status and summarize issues/updates with engineering teams. Interact with and guide internal and external teams to support project milestones. Actively manage project risks, including early identification of key risks. Lead structured debugging of manufacturing failures, coordinating with ASIC, FW, SW, validation, and platform domain leads to track systemic vs. random defects and enable data‑driven decisions for test escapes and yield improvement. Architect and continuously improve the manufacturing test program, eliminating redundant or low‑value test coverage while ensuring high defect‑screening efficiency. Drive test‑time reduction strategies through content optimization, parallelization, and intelligent binning. Define metrics and support ad‑hoc operational activities such as test‑coverage improvements, test‑time optimizations, DPPM, yield improvements, debugging, and planning of bring‑up at contract manufacturers for overall program success. Preferred Experience Experience managing a complex software/hardware/FW program from new‑product introduction through production. Strong background in ASIC, validation, software, hardware, and firmware. Experience leading strategic tech initiatives and optimizing operations with business goals. Proven track record in boosting team productivity, driving cross‑functional execution, and enhancing stakeholder engagement. Knowledge of tools such as Office 365, Jira, Kanban, Confluence, Power BI, and agile methodology. Agile project management, PMP certification. Work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to lead and influence cross‑organization teams, peers, and senior leaders. Academic Credentials Master’s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering. Location Austin, TX. Visa This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
