Technical Program Manager III, Amazon Exports and Expansions

This Amazon Exports & Expansions team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help expand Amazon into new parts of the world. You will contribute to the tech vision, strategy, and roadmap of one of the most important initiatives across Amazon. You will enable innovative technology solutions that directly improve customer and seller experience worldwide, impacting a multi‑billion dollar business.
In this role you will:
Enable solutions that reach millions of new customers globally, providing a world‑class shopping experience in local language, payment methods, and currency.
Work across all tiers leveraging Service‑Oriented Architecture, mobile platforms, user experience, analytics and data mining.
Drive customer‑experience technology for customers worldwide.
Collaborate with the business to define the expansion strategy and develop innovative solutions for continued growth.
Key job responsibilities:
Own cross‑functional projects end‑to‑end, including roadmap planning, resource planning, stakeholder management, and execution.
Collaborate closely with engineering, business, and operations teams to coordinate, launch, and support new features for Amazon’s Australia and Singapore retail websites.
Drive delivery of critical business initiatives, managing project planning, risk management, communication, and implementation.
Identify and resolve project deadlocks with innovative problem‑solving, negotiation, and diplomacy.
Make project decisions and achieve tactical goals while maintaining a strategic focus.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
3+ years of software development experience.
5+ years of technical program management experience directly with software engineering teams.
Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

The base salary range for this position is 148,700.00 – 201,200.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
