One of our clients in Morrisville, North Carolina is looking for a Technical Program Manager with the following skills and experience:


Summary:


This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both technical program/project management and Agile methodologies, who can effectively lead a team through cultural and procedural changes towards Agile practices. The ability to communicate persuasively and manage technical projects within the media content domain is crucial.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Agile Coaching and Implementation: Leading a technical team through the initial stages of Agile implementation, including facilitating Scrum ceremonies, modeling Agile practices, and building a culture that embraces these methodologies.

  • Project Management: Overseeing technical projects related to the General Entertainment Media Platform Consolidation Initiative, from discovery to deployment and support.

  • Technical Understanding: Utilizing technical experience, particularly in media processing, API management, content management systems (CMS), and understanding of HTML, XML, and JSON formats.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical program/project management, with experience in software development or IT infrastructure being a plus

  • Agile and Scrum Expertise: Strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with APIs, media content processing, CMS, and basic coding or markup languages.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with proven success in managing technical projects in fast-paced environments.

  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to persuade and guide teams through change.

  • Technical Understanding: Utilizing technical experience, particularly in media processing, API management, content management systems (CMS), and understanding of HTML, XML, and JSON formats


Additional Preferred Qualifications:



  • Agile Coaching Certification: Additional certifications such as ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC).

  • Technical Documentation: Experience in writing technical documentation and understanding network calls affecting page performance.



Educational Requirements:



  • Required: Bachelor's Degree (BS)

  • Preferred: Advanced education or additional certifications related to Agile coaching or technical management.
