Classification: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Shift: Day Shift, 100 percent onsite, 5 days per week
Compensation: $80,000 $95,000 annually
The Technical Recruiter supports full-cycle recruiting initiatives across multiple departments, with a primary focus on engineering and technical functions, while also supporting additional departments as business needs evolve. This role plays a critical part in attracting, identifying, and hiring top technical talent to support production timelines and innovation goals.
Serving as a subject matter expert, the Technical Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to deliver high-quality candidates with speed, accuracy, and long-term retention in mind. This position directly supports production readiness by ensuring critical technical roles are filled efficiently and compliantly.
2. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Recruiting & Workforce Planning

Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and professional roles across Engineering, Technical, and Corporate departments.

Partner with hiring managers to align recruiting priorities with production schedules, program timelines, and engineering milestones.

Participate in workforce planning discussions with HR and leadership to anticipate future technical hiring needs.

Lead intake meetings to define role scope, required competencies, interview plans, and selection criteria.
Sourcing, Screening & Candidate Management

Develop proactive talent pipelines for hard-to-fill, plant-based, and hands-on engineering roles.

Create and post job descriptions, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through the hiring process.

Coordinate assessments, interviews, and offer processes, partnering with the Recruiting Coordinator for logistical support.

Maintain a strong customer-service mindset for candidates and internal stakeholders.
Market Intelligence & Metrics

Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.

Track and report recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and labor costs to improve hiring efficiency.

Adapt to evolving hiring priorities while maintaining consistency and process integrity.
Compliance & Employer Branding

Ensure compliance with EEO, OFCCP, and internal recruiting policies.

Contribute to employer branding initiatives and local outreach efforts to enhance hiring outcomes.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

4 7 years of recruitment experience, preferably within EV, automotive, heavy equipment, or manufacturing environments.

Experience recruiting for onsite or plant-based roles, managing 20 or more requisitions concurrently.

Proven experience partnering directly with engineering or operations leaders.

Strong technical sourcing skills and ability to build diverse talent pipelines.

Ability to assess technical competencies in partnership with subject matter experts.

Knowledge of recruitment technologies and a passion for process improvement.

Understanding of basic immigration laws and work authorization requirements.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Paycor.

Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate relationship management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience hiring within EV, mobility, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing sectors.

Experience supporting high-volume technical hiring ramps.

Familiarity with relocation recruiting for specialized technical talent.

This is an onsite role requiring regular in-office presence, five days per week, at the Riverside, CA facility.
