Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Recruiter with strong project management exposure and deep IT technical understanding to support US-based clients. The ideal candidate should not only have hands-on US technical recruitment experience but also possess project-level knowledge across Backend, Frontend, Data, DevOps, and Cloud technologies to effectively partner with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
This role requires someone who can understand technical architectures, interpret client requirements beyond job descriptions, and contribute strategically to hiring discussions.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage end-to-end US technical recruitment for mid to senior-level roles across:
Backend Engineering
Frontend Engineering
Full Stack Development
Data Engineering & Data Science
DevOps & Cloud
QA & Automation
Technical Project Managers / Architects
Partner closely with Hiring Managers, Engineering Leads, and Delivery Heads to:
Understand technical architecture and project requirements
Translate business needs into structured hiring plans
Suggest alternative tech stacks or talent strategies where applicable
Apply project-level technical understanding to evaluate candidate fit beyond resumes
Conduct in-depth technical screenings covering:
Architecture exposure
System design understanding
Agile/Scrum methodology knowledge
SDLC familiarity
Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean Search, ATS, niche job boards, GitHub, referrals)
Manage stakeholder communication across US time zones
Drive hiring strategy, talent mapping, and pipeline building for niche skill sets
Coordinate interviews, manage feedback loops, negotiate offers, and ensure smooth onboarding
Track recruitment metrics such as:
Time-to-fill
Submission-to-interview ratio
Offer-to-join ratio
Quality of hire
Ensure compliance with US staffing practices and documentation standards
Required Experience & Skills :
5+ years of experience in US Technical Recruitment
Strong technical hiring exposure across:
Backend (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python)
Frontend (React, Angular, Vue)
Data (SQL, Snowflake, Spark, ETL, ML basics)
DevOps (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
Project-level understanding of:
SDLC
Agile/Scrum
Architecture discussions
Cross-functional delivery models
Ability to understand client project requirements similar to a Technical Project Manager mindset
Strong stakeholder management and requirement-gathering skills
Expertise in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to work in US shift and fast-paced environments
Education Qualification
MBA (HR / Operations / Strategy / General Management) from a Top B-School preferred
Engineering degree (BTech/ BE) in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field will be an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior exposure working closely with Technical Project Managers
Experience hiring for Product-based or SaaS organizations
Understanding of system design concepts
Experience in talent mapping for US-based clients
Analytical mindset with strong reporting capabilities
