Technical Sales Engineer Apply
Our confidential chemical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling our products to customers and providing technical support throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in chemistry, as well as excellent sales and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Sell our products to customers, including conducting sales visits and preparing sales proposals and contracts.
- Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process, including answering technical questions and providing product demonstrations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Stay up-to-date with changes to relevant regulations and guidelines, and ensure that our products and operations comply with them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote our products and develop new leads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of chemistry and chemical manufacturing processes.
- Excellent sales and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with CRM software and sales reporting preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
