Technical SalesAre you an experienced Technical Sales professional? We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our client's team and drive growth in the Industrial and Aerospace markets.This role is a unique blend of technical expertise, sales strategy, and customer relationship management, focusing on identifying challenges and providing high-value product and system solutions to customers.What You'll DoSolution Development: Actively engage with customer engineering teams to identify technical issues and propose effective solutions utilizing portfolio of products and capabilities.Business Growth: Collaborate with the sales team to secure new production business based on your technical solutions, then lead the successful launch of these new programs in coordination with operations.Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer sales and engineering teams, positioning company as a trusted, key solution-provider.Technical Leadership: Provide critical technical support to the sales team, including solution validation, customer presentations, and participation in Technical Reviews.Program Management: Lead the technical interface for program launches and engineering changes, driving projects through each milestone to meet critical objectives for profitability, timing, and technical performance.Product Expertise: Maintain a deep and current technical expertise on products, their applications, and manufacturing processes, as well as an understanding of competitive offerings.What You'll BringYou are a self-motivated, technically sharp professional who excels at both building relationships and managing complex projects.Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience: 3-5 years industrial sales experienceIndustry Knowledge: Proven knowledge of automotive industry APQP and PPAP requirements and/or Aerospace AS9100 related systems.Technical Skills: Working knowledge of descriptive geometry/GD&T.Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities necessary for high-level customer contact and presentations.Travel: Ability to travel 30-50% of the time to customer locations, manufacturing plants, and company meetings.Other Skills: Well-organized with excellent time management skills, capable of working independently. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Looking for commutable candidates.
