Reporting and Responsibilities

Technical Services Manager will be conducting trials of Laminates, pouches, and bags at customer's premise on the filling and packing lines. He will ensure customer complaint resolution and satisfaction. The overall in charge for technical resolutions, provide expert support, manage vendor relationships, and analyze performance metrics to improve service delivery. 

Additional Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Conducting trials of Laminates, pouches, and bags at customer's premise on the filling and packing lines.
• Liasioning with the plant to provide feedback on the run ability and operation.
• Research and analyze market trends to include end use applications, requirements, pricing, usage, etc., and provide recommendations based on research and analysis to management on both the short and long-term direction of market trends.
• Serve as a product and application knowledge expert for assigned market area and provide general process and quality knowledge to internal and external sources.
• Provide information and conduct presentations on customers and market activities to the management teams.
• Must also achieve goals without close supervision, be pro-active and self-driven willing to take ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with technical or business background preferred or Certification on Mechanics.
• 15+ years of experience in Laminates, Pouches, Bags, WPP Industry ONLY.
• Hands on experience as mechanic.
• Understanding of drawing, experience in handling various tools and tackles.
• The candidate should be willing to be trained on packaging and filling lines at a facility in Mexico or India.
• Ability to work with a variety of functional groups at all levels of the organization.
• 70-80% Travel Required, when not traveling will be required to be in UPI (NJ, USA) Office. / No work from home.
• Excellent communication skills to include interpersonal, presentation, and written.
• Computer skills (MS Office, etc.).
