Overview The Customer Solutions Engineer is responsible for delivering technical support and innovative solutions to enhance the customer experience. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, designing customized solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and ongoing support of telecommunications products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach. Functions and Responsibilities Provide expert technical support and guidance in the implementation and delivery of services Play an active role in the planning and execution of technical projects, ensuring they meet specified requirements and deadlines. Resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal smooth implementation/delivery of service to clients Provide technical feasibility study and provide project costing for business case analysis. Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions. Identify areas for technical improvement and contribute to the development of best practices. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in all technical activities. Work closely with sales unit in proactive solutions selling to corporate clients Employment Standards A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical service role, preferably in a telecommunications or IT environment. Additional certifications related to electronics, telecommunications, or IT service management are beneficial. Job Skills & Qualifications Good understanding of network infrastructure and should be able to design and implement network systems that meet the needs of their clients. They should be familiar with various networking protocols and should be able to troubleshoot and debug networking issues Gather and analyze data to understand the needs of their clients and to design solutions that meet those needs Strong communication skills and should be able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. They should also be able to work effectively with clients and team members to gather and analyze data, create project plans, and present proposals Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Good communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients and team members. Strong analytical abilities for technical assessment and solution development. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments. A focus on understanding and meeting client technical needs.
