Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Review design documents and validate functionality for defect resolutions and new system enhancements.
- Vendor Oversight: Monitor and report on contractor performance during all testing phases; review test scripts, execution results, and batch logs to ensure compliance.
- Test Management: Prepare and maintain test data (including interface data files), develop test scripts, and execute regression tests.
- Defect Analysis: Identify, reproduce, and report defects; perform deep-dive data analysis and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Participate in functional design sessions and Incident Review Meetings; provide actionable recommendations for process improvements.
- Strategic Reporting: Deliver root cause analysis on production errors to the functional lead.
Required Qualifications
- IT Systems Testing: 5+ years of experience preparing, documenting, and executing test criteria, cases, scripts, and plans.
- Domain Expertise: 2+ years of experience testing specifically for Child Support Enforcement System Development projects.
- Testing Breadth: 2+ years of experience in Component, Integration, Security, Performance, Regression, and Acceptance testing.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (BS).
Preferred & Professional Skills
- Tools: Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Test Manager, and Automated Testing tools (specifically Selenium).
- Methodologies: Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Leadership: Proven ability to plan, organize, and review the work of a testing team.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff, federal stakeholders, and executives.
- Software Proficiency: Effective use of MS Office, SharePoint, and WebEx.
