Technical Support Analyst – Public Safety Communications

Location: Washington, DC
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

A public safety emergency communications organization in Washington, DC is hiring a Technical Support Analyst to assist with the operation and support of critical communications technologies. This role focuses on troubleshooting, system support, and documentation within a PSAP/ECC environment.

Key Duties

  • Support daily operation of radio and information technology systems
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate technical issues as needed
  • Assist in maintaining system documentation and performance records
  • Support data analysis and reporting related to technology usage
  • Participate in system testing, upgrades, and maintenance activities

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of professional experience supporting relevant technology

Core Competencies

  • Knowledge of PSAP/ECC hardware and software systems
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and utilities
  • Basic knowledge of planning and modeling techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
