Technical Support Analyst – Public Safety Communications

Role Overview
A public safety emergency communications organization in Washington, DC is hiring a Technical Support Analyst to assist with the operation and support of critical communications technologies. This role focuses on troubleshooting, system support, and documentation within a PSAP/ECC environment.
Key Duties
- Support daily operation of radio and information technology systems
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate technical issues as needed
- Assist in maintaining system documentation and performance records
- Support data analysis and reporting related to technology usage
- Participate in system testing, upgrades, and maintenance activities
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of professional experience supporting relevant technology
Core Competencies
- Knowledge of PSAP/ECC hardware and software systems
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and utilities
- Basic knowledge of planning and modeling techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
- Ability to gather and present technical information clearly
