We’re looking for a technically curious, hands-on engineer to join our growing Technical Department, supporting market-leading HVAC and controls solutions across the UK.This is a varied, field-facing role where no two days are the same — combining technical problem-solving, supplier collaboration, site work, and customer support.What you’ll be doingBased from our Hemel Hempstead office, with regular travel across the UK (and occasional overnight stays)Acting as a key technical link with our main suppliers — Samsung, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi ElectricAttending manufacturer training courses and update meetingsStaying up to date with product applications, diagnostics, and best practiceProviding expert technical support on a wide range of systems, including:Air & water sourced (H)VRF systemsChillersAir-to-water heat pumpsHeat recovery ventilationSplit systemsLocal and central control systems & accessoriesBMS interfacing and bespoke control panelsSupporting colleagues, contractors, and consultants via:Telephone and email supportTechnical training sessionsSite visits for commissioning, fault-finding, and troubleshootingCompleting commissioning documentation and producing clear, detailed site visit reportsMaintaining an up-to-date technical library of manuals, software, and hardware toolsWhat we’re looking forA reliable, professional engineer with a strong technical mindsetComfortable working:On construction sitesAt heightOutdoors and in varied environmentsFlexible approach to working hours to meet customer and project requirementsStrong communication skills — confident dealing with colleagues, clients, and suppliersA practical problem-solver with good computer literacy (Microsoft Office and manufacturer diagnostic tools)Willingness to learn — training providedRequirementsFull UK driving licence and own vehicleValid passportAppropriate CSCS cardAbility to travel and stay away from home when required
