Technical Support Representative (TSR) Reports To: Inside Sales Manager Compensation: $25-28/hour Location: FRC, Nesconset, NY Job Overview: Responsible for product technical support and client service through in-depth product knowledge. Collaborates with functional areas across the business including Product Manager, Engineering, Production, Sales and Marketing. Supports internal requirements including order entry, quotations and return materials. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop knowledge required to select proper equipment for all systems and parts for quoting and entering related orders with scheduling and lead‑time. Main point person for product support, to both internal and external customers; domestic and internationally. Collaborate with internal engineering and product manager as support resource when needed. Become familiar with sales‑oriented collateral with product specifics features and benefits in order to better understand and serve the customer base. Support product in‑house through customer troubleshooting efforts. Become an advocate for our customers, communicating requirements to staff regarding needs, product improvements and other feedback. Direction of Others: This role has no direct reports Travel: There is no travel requirement for this role. Training: On the job training will be provided. Requirements Qualifications: Individual must be detail‑oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Minimum High School Diploma. Associate’s Degree or previous Technical Service experience required. Mechanical and electrical background preferred, but not required.
