The Technical Support Specialist provides entry-level technical support for CU*NorthWest clients and staff, including troubleshooting computer, network, and software systems. This role focuses on hands‑on support, system maintenance, assisting with department projects and client network implementations under the direction of senior team members. High service standards, professionalism, and responsiveness are expected to ensure a positive experience for all clients and team members. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide technical support for the company’s core financial software suite and related hardware via phone, email, Zoom and ticketing system. Assist Network Engineers with Managed Services technologies, including firewalls, servers, and cloud services such as Microsoft 365. Support client conversions and implementation projects such as domain migrations and firewall installs. Monitor systems for alerts or issues and escape problems according to established protocols. Manage user access, including password resets and account unlocks. Assist end‑users with applications. Follow compliance, security, and regulatory procedures to ensure proper system operations and data protection. Perform scheduled administrative and maintenance tasks on client hardware. Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and related equipment following procedures. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to strengthen technical and customer service skills. Perform other related tasks as assigned by management. JOB QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in IT or related field preferred. CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications required. Ability to create clear and accurate technical documentation for hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and resolution. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional support to clients and colleagues. Availability for assigned on‑call coverage during off‑hours, including in‑office support when required. Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight and weekend stays. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive data. PHYSICAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to twenty pounds occasionally. Ability to travel by car or air as required. Pay Pay $23–$25 per hour DOE.
