The Technical Trainer II is responsible for developing, designing, and implementing advanced technical training content and training materials for both internal and external customers. This role includes delivering on‐site and remote client support by providing expert training programs and advising on technical training materials.
The Technical Trainer II collaborates closely with product management, engineers, and program managers to ensure training programs are effective, aligned with company objectives, and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement advanced technical training content and materials
- Deliver on‐site and remote technical training sessions to internal and external customers
- Collaborate with product management, engineers, and program managers to gather content and ensure training accuracy
- Provide guidance and advice on technical training materials and programs
- Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to continuously improve training programs
- Develop and implement evaluation criteria to measure the effectiveness of training programs
- Maintain and update training content to ensure it remains current and relevant
- Assist with the administration and management of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience may be considered in place of required educational qualifications
- In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
- Higher‐level relevant degrees may substitute for experience
- Proficiency with e‐learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience supporting and addressing customer training objectives
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
- Certification in technical training or e‐learning (e.g., CPLP, ATD, CTT+)
- Proficiency with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Education, Human Resources, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in technical training or a related field
