Technical Training Instructor Apply
- Deliver classroom technical training courses onsite at various Transit Agencies, adhering to all workplace rules, guidelines, and safety procedures of both the end customer and NFI Group, including the NFI Respectful Workplace Policy.
- Assist in developing training materials that meet the needs of end customers and solicit input for new programs.
- Assist in scheduling training with customers.
- Assist in the development of training videos and e-learning courses.
- Assist Internal Regional Product Support Managers (RPSMs) and customers with troubleshooting.
- Deliver technical training to internal staff on request.
- Handle special assignments as required.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Teaching or Adult Instruction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle drive train, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with heavy-duty automotive, construction, or transportation equipment, preferably transit.
- Must have advanced Windows-based PC skills (particularly PowerPoint), a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, and above-average verbal and written communication skills.
- Must also be a strong self-motivator with excellent customer service skills.
- May require some heavy lifting during hands-on training.
- As Transit is a 24/7 operation, working the occasional afternoon and/or midnight shift may be required.
- Requires 60% travel time.
