Tell the Story Behind the Technology
At PDS Tech Commercial, we're building world-class simulation hardware—and we need a sharp, detail-driven Technical Writer – Hardware to help us document every piece of it. In this role, you'll go beyond traditional writing. You'll investigate, reverse-engineer, and break down complex systems to tell the story of how our simulators are built and how they work. Your work won’t just support engineering—it will shape how the entire organization understands and interacts with our technology.

What You’ll Do
You’ll become an expert in our hardware by getting hands-on with it—literally. You’ll examine systems directly on the production floor and convert technical specifications, schematics, and designs into clear, accurate documentation that engineers, technicians, and support teams can rely on. If you enjoy digging into the details and making the complex easy to understand, this is your opportunity to shine.

Daily Responsibilities

• Inspect simulator hardware on the production floor to understand its design and function

• Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, bills of materials, and technical manuals

• Write high-quality documentation including configuration descriptions, procedures, interface details, and functional specs

• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to gather insights

• Use tools like Microsoft Word and version control systems to create and manage documents

• Balance multiple projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and clarity

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)

• Fluent English writing and speaking skills

• A natural curiosity and ability to learn complex technical systems quickly

• Strong attention to detail with a talent for explaining complex ideas clearly

• Collaborative mindset and experience working with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical writing experience

• Familiarity with modeling and simulation technologies

• Experience with AI tools and their practical applications in technical documentation

• Professional certification in technical communication (e.g., STC)
