Our client is seeking a dedicated Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting system and software engineers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title Technical Writer Location Little Canada, MN Job Summary Support development of functional and non-functional requirements documentation for medical device systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, UX, QA, and regulatory teams to refine and deliver technical specifications. Facilitate technical review sessions and workshops to ensure clarity and alignment across teams. Edit, publish, and maintain requirement specifications, design documents, and verification reports. Assist in developing tools such as glossaries, style guides, and workflows to support engineering and data analysis functions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or relevant field. Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Code beamer, or JAMA. Familiarity with software development processes (SDLC) and documentation standards. Proficiency with SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
