Job Title: Technical Writer

Summary:

  • The Lead Technical Writer will create and edit technical documentation, including articles, reports, manuals, and user guides, particularly for the healthcare sector.
  • The role involves transforming complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content, coordinating graphics and production, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit technical documents/manuals per customer specifications.
  • Research and utilize existing data and illustrations to enhance content.
  • Develop and coordinate text and graphics to meet final product requirements.
  • Archive technical data for future reference.
  • Track project time and communicate progress and needs to management.
  • Ensure tasks meet deadlines, customer specifications, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience in writing IFUs (Instructions for Use) for healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience with Vizio, Articulate, and Didda tools preferred.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years in writing complex technical documents, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with limited guidance and adapt to changing requirements.

This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and proficiency in technical writing tools.
