Technical Writer$65000 - $80000 + BonusRobesonia PAMachine Manufacturing CompanyWe are working with a leading industrial equipment manufacturer based in Robesonia, PA, currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Writer to join their team. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Project Management and is responsible for producing complete technical documentation packages that support engineered-to-order equipment systems.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience writing manuals for industrial or engineered equipment and is comfortable working directly with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams.Key Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain technical manuals for industrial bakery equipmentCreate detailed documentation explaining equipment functionality and food processing systemsSupport project documentation deliverables tied to customer equipment ordersOrganize and lead project risk assessment documentationMaintain industry standards documentation (OSHA, ANSI, CE, CSA, etc.)Develop technical animations using 3D modeling and machine assembly softwareCreate and manage video-based training documentationSupport factory training program contentAssist Marketing with technical white papers when requiredQualifications & Experience Required:Minimum 3–5 years of technical writing experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineered equipment environmentExperience with 3D modeling and machine assembly animation softwareBackground in food processing or industrial equipmentDemonstrated experience creating technical manuals for mechanical or electro-mechanical equipmentEngineering degree (Mechanical preferred) or technical associate degreeExperience creating training videos or multimedia documentationExperience working directly with engineers to gather and validate technical contentExperience supporting compliance, safety, or risk documentation (OSHA, ANSI, CE, CSA, etc.)Experience in a project-based manufacturing environmentIdeal Candidate ProfileTechnically fluent and comfortable on a manufacturing floorDetail-oriented with strong document control disciplineOrganized and able to manage multiple concurrent projectsConfident interfacing with engineers and senior project leadershipProactive in gathering information and closing documentation gaps
