Technical Writer Apply
MW Partners is currently seeking a Technical Writer to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Develop comprehensive documentation for the new API version, including user guides, reference manuals, and best practices.
- Create detailed transition guides to assist customers in migrating from the old API version to the new one.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and user-friendly.
- Manage documentation on a new CMS platform and ensure it is accessible at a new URL location.
- Continuously update and improve documentation based on feedback and changes to the platform.
- Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software or SaaS industry.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software or SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and software development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with GitHub
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have:
- Experience documenting APIs or developer tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages and software development practices.
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
