Job Title: Requirements Analyst & Technical Writer (Hybrid)Location: St. Paul, MN - 55117Duration: 12 MonthsJob Summary:We are seeking a Requirements Analyst & Technical Writer to support Electrophysiology R&D system and software engineering teams by developing clear, high-quality technical documentation. The role works closely with product managers, engineers, UX, QA, and other stakeholders to refine requirements and translate complex technical concepts into concise, structured documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and manage functional and non-functional requirements documentation and change control.Ensure requirements are clear, feasible, testable, and aligned with ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148:2018 standards.Maintain a single source of truth for requirements including baseline and version control.Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) linking requirements to design, risk, and verification.Edit and publish requirement specifications, software design, and verification documents.Facilitate technical reviews and workshops with engineering teams.Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Software, QA/Regulatory, and Risk teams.Participate in Agile activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.Support continuous improvement of documentation processes, tools, and workflows.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Strong technical writing and communication skills.Experience with requirements tools such as DOORS, Codebeamer, or Jama.Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).Ability to work independently and learn medical device regulations and quality processes.
