Location: Bingen, WA (Onsite)

Job Description:

Experience: 3 to 5+ years in Manufacturing, Component Assembly and MRO (Aerospace Industry) with experience of technical writing

Education: US equivalent technical degree

Work Location in US: Bingen, WA (Client location). The activities must be done at Client location where access to the shop-floor of an ITAR facility will be provided.

The position is immediate.

  • As a technical writer, the engineer will be responsible to create Work Instruction Documents for Installation/Removal and Assembly/Disassembly, etc. activities for the unmanned aerial system, sub-system, incorporating step wise process instructions with illustrations/pictures for each activity/task.
  • Experience in Assembly and Disassembly or Installation and Removal processes of aerospace components (Unmanned Aerial System).
  • Experience in working at aerospace manufacturing shop floor (Able to work in factory environment).
  • Well versed with manufacturing test setups procedures.
  • Ability to interact with cross functional teams within the manufacturing unit, liaise with Aerovel shop personnel, technicians, SME, other stakeholders and gather inputs.
  • Ability to perform input/impact analysis for adequacy, perform self-review of the manual/documents.
  • Experience in writing work instructions and training documents for aerospace components using MS office tools as per OEM requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS word and usage of Styles and, prepare the style guide as per OEM requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, often in cross-functional teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
