Location: 2160 Amsterdam Rd, Glenville, NY 12302

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Position Overview
The Tech B position involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components at the component level. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in an electronics repair environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and assemblies.
  • Analyze and resolve issues down to the component level.
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams.
  • Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and signal generators.
  • Perform soldering and de-soldering (surface mount and thru-hole).
  • Handle electronic devices following ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Complete repair orders and projects efficiently and accurately.
  • Support warehouse operations and perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Must pass a Technical Aptitude Test (if applicable).
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits and components.
  • Proficiency with electronic test instruments.
  • Skilled in soldering and rework techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.

Interview Process: Resume review and interview.

Hands-on demonstration of soldering skills and schematic reading during the interview.
