Concrete Solutions Lab, Corp. is a fast growing multi-disciplinary construction materials testing and inspection firm. CSL is a Class 1 Special Inspection Agency and Licensed Concrete Testing Lab registered with NYCDOB. CSL is also prequalified by the NYCSCA for Quality Control/Field Sampling/Testing and Inspection Services. We are currently seeking highly qualified and motivated team players in the NYC area (NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, etc.). CSL has recently been awarded a number of interesting and challenging projects and we are looking to add to our staff.
Concrete Solutions Lab, Corp. is seeking all levels of Construction Inspectors, Field Supervisors, Professional Engineers and Special Inspection candidates for positions with our New York Office.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
Must have reliable transportation and clean drivers license
Be familiar with, possess knowledge and terminology of the construction industry and the NYC Building Code.
Experience with NYCDDC/NYCSCA, NETTCP Cert a plus
Field and laboratory sampling and testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, rebar, masonry, and structural steel.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings, engineering sketches, etc.
ACI Grade I and ICC Masonry certifications a plus
Supervisors Position to oversee various onsite inspections performed by team members in accordance to NYC Building Codes.
B.S. in Geotechnical, Civil and/or Structural Engineering, from an accredited College a plus.
Experience in sheeting/shoring, underpinning and pile driving.
Quality control/quality assurance monitoring
Desired Certifications Include:
NYS Professional Engineering Lic.
ACI Grade I Field Testing
AWS Certified Welding Inspector in AWS D1.1 Code
ACI Strength Testing Technician
ACI Aggregate Lab I / II
ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector
ICC Spray-Applied Fireproofing Special Inspector
ICC Pre-stressed Concrete Special Inspector
ICC Structural Welding Special Inspector
NICET Level II
NETTCP
NYCDDC
Must have own reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Must be willing to travel throughout the NYC and surrounding Boroughs (Nassau, Suffolk, etc.). Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
