Join our dynamic team today and find a rewarding career with a company that values you and all you bring to the table.About Your RoleAs a Maintenance Technician III at Dollar Tree's Distribution Center, you'll serve as a multi-skilled technical subject matter expert, ensuring high equipment availability rates. You'll perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with peers and contractors to maintain operational efficiency. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Equipment Maintenance & TroubleshootingMaintain and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyors, sortation, robotics, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS)Control and adjust scanners, cameras, scales, printer applicators, and mechanical components such as belts, chains, cables, guides, bearings, rollers, and pulleysInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, PLC programs, sensors, motor starters, relays, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, and encodersConduct maintenance and higher-level troubleshooting of any robot typeTroubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods up to 480VDevelop and execute work plans for emergency repair of critical assetsSystems & Process ManagementProficiently utilize CMMS to retrieve and complete work orders, ensuring parts are properly withdrawn and accounted forConfigure and adjust PLC parameters and componentsConduct Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceMonitor all aspects of the worksite, performing inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenanceCollaboration & SafetyWork closely with other maintenance technicians, building leaders, and specialty contractors to optimize equipment performanceMaintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizationFollow all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, and PPE usage, to ensure a safe work environmentPerform physically demanding work, including standing/walking 1012 hours, navigating ladders, gangways, platforms, and lifting items up to 49 lbs.Your Required Skills and Experience4+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, including industrial or automated equipmentExcellent PC competency, including the ability to use mobile apps on handheld devicesStrong knowledge of wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring techniquesExperience with preventive/predictive maintenance, blueprint/schematic reading, work order management, industrial electrical, controls, and electronicsExperience with PLC programming, industrial networks, and automated material handling equipmentStrong communication, problem-solving, quality-conscious, reliable, safety-conscious, and organizational skillsPreferred RequirementsDegree from a technical or community college, or accredited industrial maintenance certifications (PLCs, Industrial Networks, Machine Logic, Robotics) with a focus in mechanical/electrical fieldsYour Perks and BenefitsWe offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
