As a Technician III, your role will be to calibrate, set up and use sophisticated and/or specialized measurement test equipment. You will interpret data and prepare recommendations as well as draft reports and communicate results. You will do this by: Performing a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment. Fabricating prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing. Documenting all aspects of tests, including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations. Compiling and computing a variety of engineering data: analyzing test and design data and preparing reports. Analyzing problems and recommending solutions; expediting prototype parts or accessories. Developing, preparing and making recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications. Performing other duties as assigned. You are the kind of person who is/has: A technical mindset. Highly skilled in instrumentation. Measurement- and calibration-savvy. Detail-oriented. Analytical. Adaptable to complex systems in expertise. Qualifications: Ability to set up, calibrate and use sophisticated and/or specialized measurement instruments and test equipment. Understanding of a specialized technical area. Demonstrated ability to learn complex technical areas. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret data and create technical documents. Fluent in primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location as well as the ability to read English. Required Experience: Five years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products.
