Job Description:
As a Technology Coordinator, you will provide hands-on technical support, systems administration, and automation assistance to ensure reliable operation of technology infrastructure within a facility environment. You will support hardware, software, networking, and automated systems while coordinating with vendors, maintaining technology assets, and assisting end users to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot automation, hardware, software, and network connectivity issues and document resolutions.
- Provide systems administration support including desktop operating systems, user accounts, and network resources.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer systems, network equipment, and related software.
- Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate maintenance contracts and vendor service calls.
- Administer facility technology systems including user access support and issue reporting.
- Conduct annual inventory of hardware and software assets using ticketing and inventory tools.
- Manage secure disposal and documentation of obsolete or unserviceable equipment and software.
- Provide technical assistance and training to users on equipment, applications, and systems.
- Perform liaison and reporting duties to keep leadership informed of technology status and compliance.
- Support analysis, development, and implementation of improved automated systems and workflows.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with call tracking, ticketing systems, and managing technical support issues.
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing technical support for computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Experience with systems administration, desktop operating systems, and network environments.
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer and network equipment.
- Experience conducting technology asset inventory, documentation, and secure data disposal.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and manuals.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $20.00 to $40.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
