Job Description
As a Full stack Java Developer, you are responsible for the development, integration, and deployment of both front-end and back-end software applications. You are expert on Java application integration, java enterprise services, service-oriented architectures and security along with solid knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC). You should be able to take a project from conception to deployment, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code. Participate in all phases of the development life cycle (SDLC).
- Full stack Java development. Modify functionality to meet changing business needs and compliance requirements
- Work along side Architects to contribute on technical improvements, automations and develop complete understanding of end-to-end solution being implemented
- Creation of Low level and detailed design documentation. Working with all stakeholders to receive signoff on the changes. Develop code as per the requirements captured, deploy changes / applications to test and production environments, perform PIV.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Manage Offshore Development team, participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Ensure designs comply with specifications.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Stay up to date with new technology trends.
Skills
- 10+ years of proven hands-on Software Development experience and proven working experience in Java development.
- Full-stack application development using Java EE, Spring framework (MVC, JPA, Data, Data REST, Boot), ReactJS and Maven
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Well versed with Design by Privacy, Secure Design principles
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Capable of developing and implementing CICD process using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo.
- Working knowledge on test case automations using tools like Github Actions, SonarQube
- Expertise on integrating services as per Microservices based Architecture using integration mechanisms like Kafka, Rest etc
- Working knowledge on building resilient application with enhanced idempotency, logging and tracing mechanisms, event balancing.
