Role: Technology Lead– Java/J2EE/Spring/PL SQL (Manufacturing Domain)
Location: Tukwila, WA
Overview and responsibilities:
Develop technical concepts and contribute to architecture and design discussions. Lead and guide the development team. Develop UI wireframes, design and development of the system, and create test plans. Perform functional testing including regression testing. Prepare build and deployment scripts. Support deployment, implementation and post-production support. Develop technical proof of concept (POC) to validate proposed solutions and reduce technical risk. Participate in requirements discussions with end-users/customers. Review and provide inputs for data modeling and designs. Document requirements.
Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred
At least 2 years hands-on Software Development experience in Java/J2EE platform
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Database design, PL/SQL
Experience working in Java frameworks: Spring MVC, Struts
Knowledge on at least one Relational Databases and ORM technologies
Good working knowledge of OO concepts, Design Patterns, UML
Experience in designing and developing web applications, performing technical analysis and recommending solutions
Experience with application performance tuning, debugging and troubleshooting
Experience with continuous integration and build tools such as GIT, Ant, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
Experience with Red Hat Linux, Windows operating systems
Experience in working in Agile and Iterative Development Methodologies
Experience in working with geo-diversified teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer interfacing skills and documentation skills
Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
Develop technical proof of concept (POC) to validate proposed solution and reduce technical risk
Participate and drive requirements discussions with end-users/customers
Review and provide inputs for data modeling and designs
Support server migration, software version upgrade activities
Document requirements
Prepare build and deployment scripts
