Location: Rosharon, TX 77583
Pay Rate: $20 $23XX (based on experience)
Duration: 6 Months

Shift & Schedule

  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
  • Workweek: Sunday night through Friday morning
  • Overtime opportunities available on weekends
  • Initial 6 8 weeks of training on day shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

Job Overview
The Technology Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control inspections, testing, and reporting to ensure parts, materials, and equipment meet defined specifications. This role combines hands-on inspection work with an understanding of Quality Management Systems and the impact of nonconformances on equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts, components, materials, subassemblies, and equipment against specifications using calibrated measurement tools.
  • Follow established inspection procedures and standard work guidelines.
  • Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in compliance with procedures.
  • Assist in designing and setting up test fixtures.
  • Ensure all inspection and testing activities are conducted safely.
  • Participate in hazard analysis and risk control planning.
  • Perform calibration of measurement systems when authorized.
  • Document inspection and test results and monitor consistency over time.
  • Review test procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply manufacturing system tools and principles to enhance quality and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2 5 years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical standards and procedures.
  • Strong math and measurement skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Forklift experience is a plus (certification provided onsite).
  • Familiarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems is a plus.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs multiple times per day
  • Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and leaning
  • Forklift operation required

Safety Requirements

  • Mandatory PPE at all times
  • Must follow all site safety policies
