Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Overview:We are seeking a Technology Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced electronic security and cybersecurity systems. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and possess a strong technical background in both physical security systems and network technologies.Responsibilities and Duties:Configure and install electronic security systems including alarm panels, access control systems, video analytics servers, Network Video Recorders (NVR), and video management appliances.Configure and maintain servers, PCs, routers, switches, point-to-point antennas, wireless networks, and related IT infrastructure in LAN/WAN environments.Provide remote and on-site support to internal and external customers for equipment configuration, diagnostics, and failure resolution.Perform upgrades and component replacements (disks, memory, LAN cards, video controllers, etc.).Support cybersecurity platforms including Absolute, Palo Alto Systems, Commvault Metallic, KnowBe4, RSA, and others.Design wired and wireless network infrastructure for security applications.Use monitoring and management software such as Paessler PRTG, Bold Manitou, Microsoft GP, and other vendor-specific tools.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors including March, Avigilon, Risco, Honeywell, Bosch, Epcom, Ubiquiti, Dell, HP, and more.Diagnose network, server, and equipment issues, and provide timely resolution.Participate in installations and maintenance schedules including ON-CALL shifts for after-hours, weekends, and holidays.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology or Information Systems required.Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server, etc.).Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and tools.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/M/F/V/D)Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceWork Location: In person
