RSU 22 is seeking a full time Technology Support Specialist to provide technical support for teachers, students and administration for the district. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the Technology Director and effectively carries out assigned responsibilities Support existing websites including training, updates, & change requests Deployment of 1:1 devices Direct support for Students, Teachers and Administrators Device management (Jamf Pro & Google Admin) Manages Help Desk tickets for technology issues Support for hardware or software install, configuration and troubleshooting for all district technology users Training for end users’ technology and software Fosters and maintains positive staff relationships Interacts with the public and represents our school district in a professional manner Keeps abreast of technical trends, applications and effective practices in technology Demonstrate integrity, ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree preferred in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology or other equivalent disciplines. Experience may be substituted for education.
