Overview Technology Support Specialist at Region 17 Education Service Center Responsibilities and duties are described below. Responsibilities Inventory control and management for workstations, laptops, iPads, and any other technology related equipment. Electronic records for all damages and repairs including invoicing and billing as needed for all technology related equipment. Process all warranty work, non-warranty work, system damages and repairs, along with any and all replacements. Work with all students and staff at the Junior High campus. Keep updated electronic records of all technology related equipment including laptops, iPads, projectors, wireless display adapters, workstations, printers, cases, sleeves, along with any other technology item. Inventory of all technology equipment - includes 1,300 student/staff laptops, 400 iPads, 100+ projectors, printers, wireless display adapters etc. Help Desk - Level 1 support - Basic troubleshooting of all systems including all phone support. Laptop Repair - Level 1 - Basic repair of laptops and other technology equipment. Imaging and processing laptops: Login, Setup Configuration, User settings, Testing. Processing of all technology equipment including laptops, laptop chargers, cases and sleeves for all systems. Back to school and end of school laptop processing will require additional time including long hours and extra duty days to meet deployment needs. This will require the entire department to complete these tasks. Support end user’s hardware and software issues in a timely manner. Assist with technical support for high school - cover other campuses or departments as needed. Complete assigned work orders as directed. Process laptop and iPad repairs and assign loaner units on a daily basis. Assist with laptop deployment and pickup. Cleaning and re-imaging systems for the next deployment during summer. Process laptops as each campus retains their laptops and chromebooks assigned to them - 3rd, 4th and 5th with 5th rotating back around to 3rd grade - same with 6th, 7th and 8th - same with 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade campus levels. Troubleshoot technical issues to keep students and teachers online and on task. Onsite technical support for all campuses and departments - Complete assigned work orders assigned by the director. Other duties as assigned by the technology director.
