Position Description You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the Crisis Response and Interoperable Communications System Branch, Special Comms Mission Solution Division of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will serve as the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Satellite Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Crisis Response and Interoperable Communications System Branch. You will provide subject matter expertise in the IT systems architecture, network services, cybersecurity integration, enterprise modernization, and lifecycle management of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Satellite Communications systems. You will provide cross-domain solution development and integration management, ensuring interoperability, security, and compliance with evolving mission requirements. You will coordinate directly with Sponsor IPT leadership to align technical solutions with budgetary, schedule, and mission objectives, enabling effective decision‑making at the enterprise level. You will lead IT systems integration and test activities to support upgrades and modernizations, ensuring deployed systems meet or exceed operational performance standards. You will direct full lifecycle efforts from planning through deployment, guaranteeing fully operational System‑of‑Systems (SoS) capability delivered on or ahead of schedule. You will serve as the recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical authority in LMR and SATCOM based architectures and communications systems, driving modernization and resilience of mission‑critical networks.
