About the Role As a Senior Packaging Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative packaging that resonates with consumers. Your designs will combine aesthetics with functionality, ensuring that each product stands out on the shelf. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a dedicated Packaging Design Manager through all stages of the design process, from concept to production. - Create packaging systems that prioritize both visual appeal and practical needs, ensuring brand integrity is maintained. - Assess packaging concepts for design quality, material choices, and production feasibility, making adjustments as necessary. - Engage with cross-functional teams to address design challenges and meet project deadlines. - Mentor junior team members, helping them enhance their skills and navigate their projects. - Stay ahead of consumer trends and apply insights to elevate packaging designs. - Manage project timelines and collaborate with production teams to finalize designs. What Were Looking For: - A bachelors degree in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field. - 5-8 years of experience in packaging design within the consumer products sector, ideally toy, pet or kids brands. - Strong graphic design skills with a flair for innovation. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of printing processes. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. - Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability to shifting priorities.
