Shift- 8 am-4 pm
Rate- $35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activities Director to lead and oversee our facility's activities program, ensuring it meets the social, emotional, and therapeutic needs of our residents. This role is essential in fostering a vibrant and engaging environment where residents can participate in meaningful activities tailored to their interests, abilities, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and supervise a comprehensive activities program that enhances residents' quality of life.
Ensure all activities align with federal and state regulations while addressing the social, psychosocial, and therapeutic needs of residents.
Oversee and/or delegate the completion of the activities component of resident assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate group and individual activities, including recreational, educational, cultural, and arts and crafts programs.
Monitor and evaluate resident participation and engagement, adjusting programs as needed to maximize effectiveness.
Ensure that activities are offered seven days a week and that residents who prefer not to participate in group activities receive personalized engagement.
Oversee resident transportation for on-site and off-site social activities.
Collaborate with other departments and community organizations to enhance program offerings.
